Sacred Buddhist Stupas of Kunzang Palyul Choling

Thank you for taking the time to consider an urgent call for help to secure the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park

Stupas are one of the oldest and most potent, sacred structures on the earth. They date back 2,600 years to the time of the Buddha, the original architect of this spiritual technology. Known as “wish fulfilling jewels,” they only come into existence through the compassionate intention of Buddhist masters to bring peace to the world to end suffering. Think of them as unceasing beacons of compassion radiating to all living beings with immeasurable blessings.

Jetsunma Ahkön LhamoIn the late 1990’s, Jetsunma Ahkön Lhamo, Tibetan Buddhist master and spiritual director of Kunzang Palyul Chöling, envisioned a sacred place of great benefit to the world, a place of serenity where anyone could come to meditate, offer prayers and experience the peace, healing and profound blessings of a Stupa.

Jetsunma’s vision became a reality in 2004 upon the final consecration of the Amitabha Stupa and the 14 acres of pristine land it rests upon. Since that day thousands have visited the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park which has become a community treasure, a spiritual sanctuary, and a rare jewel in a troubled world. Visitors the world over have discovered this peaceful place of refuge, hope and inspiration...a place to expect the miraculous.

Regrettably the future of the Peace Park as a Sedona destination is uncertain. A loan totaling $698,000 must be paid off by June 15, 2012 in order to secure the sacred land the Stupa and Peace Park rests upon.

CircumambulationThis is a heartfelt and urgent plea to ask you to partner with us and consider a donation to help secure the Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park …. now and for future generations.
